The York Harbor Traditional Style swing was the initial inspiration for Penobscot Bay Porch Swings as this design is based on the original sailor’s hammock made out of heavy canvas and cotton rope. This three sided swing provides a cozy sense of space with its battened wind protector back. As this style hangs from two points the swing motion is comparable to a hammock. Lean against the swing ends for support or stretch out for a well deserved nap.
